Module Overview
Presented in 9 lessons and is relevant to anyone tasked with scoping and implementing a crisis management framework, as a refresher for existing members of a crisis management team or for managers and executives experiencing crisis management concepts for the first time.
What you will learn
We focus on developing an initial understanding of what a crisis means for a business, how a crisis develops and the people, processes and tools required to respond.
We also touch on the relationship between the Crisis Management Teams and other recovery teams involved in Emergency response, IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan implementation.
These are all concepts an organisation's senior executives should be aware of.
Why do this course ?
Because it's important executives can quickly reach a consensus on the criteria for declaring an incident as a crisis and who should manage it.
We also take an initial look at the potential impacts it can have on Reputation, Relationships, Finance, Operations, and Products and gain an understanding of what's required to be able to contain or minimize the impacts of a crisis event.
With that knowledge, management and executives will be better positioned to respond quickly and avoid the consequences of a delayed response.
